Ski in Austria
Austria
is known for being one of the world's top skiing destinations with
excellent infrastructure and a high standard of accomodation which
is reasonably priced. There is certainly no shortage of slopes either
- not suprising since the Alps cover most of the country.
The
villages here are traditional and pretty and the nightlife is lively.
German is the official language, however English is widely understood.
Credit cards are not as widely accepted here as in other resorts
- so be sure to keep some cash on you. If you're planning a family
ski trip, Austria is the place to go!
