Mount Elbrus Ski Resort
Mount Elbrus is Europe’s highest peak, according to the Russians. At 5,633 m (18,476 ft), it offers year-round skiing and snowboarding. The cable car reaches its highest station, Mir, in three phases. From there, the way down is a 2 km run.
A number of tour companies offer heli-skiing on Elbrus, where skiers descend on pristine slopes for excellent Alpine skiing and panoramic views of the valley and surrounding mountains.
